Your IPLP is where you set your focus areas, outline improvement goals, and define the actions and supports needed for your professional growth. This workflow guides you through creating and submitting your plan for your observer to review.

Steps

  1. Watch for an IPLP request email sent by your observer (usually a principal or administrator).

  2. Select Add my IPLP in the email to open your plan.

  3. Review the list of available Focus Components and select the areas you want to improve.

    • Components marked with a flag represent District Goals that all teachers must include.

  4. For each selected component, write a Growth Goal describing what you want to accomplish.

    • Tip: You can use Compose with Lebra to generate a draft goal if your district has enabled this feature. This also applies to the other sections of your IPLP.

  5. Under each goal, add your Planned Action Steps; these are the actions you will take to make progress.

  6. Add any Support Needed, such as coaching, resources, or administrator guidance.

  7. (Optional) Add a reflection about how your goals support student growth, if applicable.

  8. Once complete, type your name in the Employee Signature box.

  9. Choose Save as Draft to return later, or Submit my IPLP to send it to your observer for review.
